TPC (HK) Limited, a garment technology consulting firm founded in 1992, is specializing in offering fashion house & garment manufacturer solutions to problems encountered during the course of design & production, particularly in the pattern creation process. The name TPC is an abbreviation of “Three-dimensional Pattern Concept”, a worldwide patent technology employing an innovative 3D approach to the design and construction of garment.


TPC has in-depth knowledge and extensive experience in the development of the European fashion industry. TPC has a proven track record of serving the public and the commercial sectors including but not limited to being appointed garment consultants to a number of Government-funded projects managed by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the Hong Kong Productivity Council and the Hong Kong Clothing Industry Training Authority.


Not only is TPC a consultancy, it is also a centre of research and development as well as a platform of technology transfer. Keeping abreast of the trend of the garment industry and employing the most updated technical know-how and computer technology, TPC is a promise to revolutionize the garment industry and a means to bring forth enormous economic value.


2002, TPC, through an associated company, co-operated with the Town Government of Nanhai, PRC to establish possibly the first and the most advanced Lingerie Technology Centre in the PRC. Furthermore, in March 2004, TPC together with The Guangzhou University established the Apparel Cyber Tech Centre (“ACTC”) with the support of the PRC Government. The main objectives for the inception of these two Centres are to research and develop the advanced 3D fashion technology and to establish the foremost and the largest 3D human body database of the Chinese population in the PRC with a view to provide the apparel industry with the latest information and to promote the quality and efficiency of production to compete on the international horizon.





Professor Alexandre Kung, Principal Consultant and Technical Director

A. Kung has been in the garment scene for over 30 years. He pursued advanced studies in garment technologies in Paris as early as 1970s and graduated with outstanding results in Fashion Design and Pattern Creation. He was the Design and Technical Director of two leading French and Italian garment enterprises from 1974 to 1991 and the Guest Instructor of TPC technology in ESIV, French national clothing academy in 1991. Since 1992, A. Kung has been concentrating on the provision of consultancy services on his patented TPC technique and founded TPC International, Paris and TPC (HK) Limited.

Scarlette Ng  Design and Administration Director
S. Ng graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and awarded with a Professional Qualification in "Stylisme Perfectionnement" by Ecole Esmond Guerre-Lavigne in Paris, France. Hence, she has been working as a fashion designer in France, Canada and Hong Kong for years. She founded TPC (HK) Limited, INSTITUT TPC and Lingerie Technology Centre in China with A. Kung in 1992, 2000 and 2001.



Dr. Pierre Kueny  3D CAD Programmer and Project Manager
P. Kueny holds a Doctor Degree of Arts awarded by Sorbonne University, Paris, France in 1983 and has been engaged widely in 3D graphic research and development and computer generated images application all through these years.


Dr. Willie Wu  Chief Software Developer
W. Wu holds a Ph.D. Degree of Mechanical Engineering (CAD/CAM) awarded by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 1999 and a Master Degree of Computer Graphics by Jilin University in 1991 respectively. He has been engaged in research and development in 3D Graphics, Geometry Modeling and CAD areas through all these years.

Arnaud Mandard  3D CAD Programmer
A. Mandard holds a Diploma of Applicated Arts and Industry in Paris, France. He has been involved in 3D design, calibrating monitor, digital processing and 3D CAD programming ever since his graduation.
